Shelby House and Samaritan Recovery Community is proof of the successful symbiotic relationship between affordable housing and addiction recovery services. This transformative master development seamlessly integrates 195 affordable housing units with a 70,000-square-foot addiction treatment center and a 563-space parking garage onto a 2-acre city block, creating affordable housing for SRC’s graduates on the same campus.

Through this development, we have more than doubled their capacity from 56 to 132 beds while maintaining their exceptional 70% recovery success rate, over twice the national average.
Shelby House delivers 195 units of market-rate quality affordable housing designed with dignity and long-term stability in mind.
